1.What is the diffrence between the blanket made of Polish wool and PREMIUM blanket made of merino wool?
It is all about thickness of wool hair calculated in microns. Polish combed wool of which woolbyAnn blankets are made is 25-27 microns thick while australian merino wool is 19 microns. It means that PREMIUM wool blankets are lighter, more silky and fluffy what makes them more delicate in touch. Australian merino wool is less pilling and felting. I would say that merino wool blankets are a bit more solid. However both products are natural decorative products and look the same.
2. How shall I clean wool products?
Dry cleaning is best recommended cleaning method for wool. Never put your wool products in washing machine! You can hand wash them in cold water with a mild cleaning detergent designed for wool. More clean and care instruction can be found on woolbyAnn.com in „Wool Stories” section (here).
3. Can I buy woolbyAnn products in offline shops?
woolbyAnn operates on-line only and does not have any regular stationary distribution. We hope we start coopeartion with selected multibrand boutiques. Follow up our Facebook and Instagram fanpages to be regularly updated on our sale channels.
4. Do you sell your knitwear patterns?
At the moment woolbyAnn is not a DIY label. We aim to create unique knitwear pieces and promote knitting.
5. How long will I wait for my order?
Every woolbyAnn item is made to order and hand knitted when placing an order. Waiting times may vary per model can take from one day to three weeks to be ready for shipment. Average time of delivery is specified at each product on the website. If your item would be finished sooner than advised this will be shipped immediately.
Delivery times depends mainly from the colours of wool I have in stock. If I need to order your favourite colour it can take longer. Wool is coming to me from many locations abroad and I can not predict exactly when I get it. 6. Do you make custom made pieces?
Each woolbyAnn item is made to order. It means that it starts to be knitted after you place an order. Suggested standard sizes are shown in product descriprtion. You can make custom request in terms of size and colour if standard sizes and colours do not match you.
7. Do you offer custom-made designs?
Custom made requests in terms of design depend on the current demand to regular woolbyAnn offer. Please feel free to contact us via email and share your design wishes with us. We will answer as soon as possible.
8. Do you offer refunds or exchanges if my garment doesn’t fit or I simply change my mind?
All woolbyAnn products are customized and made to order. In the event of ordering customized goods you may not withdraw from the agreement and return the goods (article 38 of the Consumer's Rights Act of 30 May 2014. However we realize that fitting the size can be tricky and we accept returns and exchanges in selected categories of products. You can return and exchange the beanies and scarfs if you ordered them in our standard size. In case we prepare a garment according to your individual size preferences, we do not accept any returns and exchanges. We do not accept returns and exchanges of blankets and pillows.
9. What if an item is out of stock?
If an item is currently listed as “temporarily out of stock” it means there is no wool on stock or we are waiting on a wool delivery. If you are interested in this product please e-mail us.
10. I live outside of European Union. Will I have to pay customs or import duty on my order?
Every country is different and depending on your country of residence you may have to pay customs or import duty. This is your responsibility and out of our control. When you refuse to pay taxes and duties at destination and the package is returned to us, we don’t offer a refund.
